Bio oil was from a glitch where the bottles were listed as dead dead cheap. They could not honour the orders, but were generous with sending us out loads of samples.

Not sure where I was but I don't remember that glitch have never bought bio oil myself.

my daughter needed some baby food.

bought 12 for £6 and compared to morrisons.

10x HiPP Organic Star Pasta with Sweet Squash & Chicken (190G) £8.50 £5.00

    I got a apg of £4.09,

Here are the other ones i bought.

    10x HiPP Organic Vegetables with Noodles & Chicken (190G) £8.50 £5.00
    10x HiPP Organic Creamy Porridge Breakfast (190G) £8.50 £5.00

with the following shop i got a apg of £5.61 I would have got 15p more if I bought a £1 as the extra and not the 85p.

    1x HiPP Organic Spaghetti with Tomatoes & Mozzarella (190G) £0.85 £1.00

10x HiPP Organic Breakfast Duet Strawberry Cereal with Yogurt (160G) £10.00 £5.00

This one I got £4.69 apg.

10x HiPP Organic Fruit Layer Mango & Banana Topped with Yogurt (160G) £10.00 £6.00

    Evening luvlies

I did 2 Hipp shops yesterday, both compared to M but £6 not £5 as some of your did. Looks like the return on the strawberry duo is better than the mango.

    Thanks for posting

does your 89 year old mum actually want to go to Nice - I suppose the flight it not too long but its the getting to the airport bit and the hanging around in departures and getting through customs and baggage handling at airports that is really wearisome.
Eldest child and her BF were held up getting back from Milan the other weekend because of French customers having a strike so it had a knock on effect.
I support airport security is now even more tight and long winded.

I also thought you had to have a letter from your docs if you had existing and ongoing medical conditions - would her doc even issue one of these?

Whether my Mum wants to go or not is beside the point. If my sister decides it will happen. Since our Dad died aged 91 my sister cant get it into her head our parents were getting old and will die. If you asked my Mum if she wanted to go she would say ! of course I do !. Whether she has thought it through or not is another matter. Luckily the airport is only 30 mins away and as a rule hold ups are short. Its about 30 mins by taxi at other end. My sister is going to speak to dr tommorow to see if we need to declare all her meds. She takes a med called Cobeneldopa which is mainly for Parkinsons but she has normal pressure hydrocephalus for which she had a shunt put in her head last year. Thats the main one sis seems to want to hide.
Not sure if she would needs a drs note.

Does your mum actually want to go rose? It sounds like an upheaval that a poorly person could do without to me. :o

I really can't believe your sister is thinking of telling lies, that is so sad that she is willing to risk your mum's well being. :(

If it were my mum and your sister did go ahead and get travel insurance I don't think I would be able to stop myself from informing the insurance company of the real picture.....

As I said in a post just now my Mum would say yes anyway regardless of the upheaval. When my sister gets an idea in her head there is not stopping her. I said last time i would not pick up the pieces if it went wrong and i will say the same this time. I am contemplating taking early retirement if the government do implement the scheme to allow women affected by the pension changes to take early retirement and would downsize to clear the mortgage and would allow me time with my grandchildren and to enjoy my life. Only down side is if I do that I know I will get all mums care dumped on me again.

I remember when you were going through that before, you definitely dont need that, that job was a saving grace for you.

I wouldn't have thought it would be the doctors decision if you have to declare all meds if the insurance company ask then they should be surely. That is what put up my travel insurance by £95 last year, as I had four different meds for just the one chest infection.

I'm sorry Rose but I really do think your sister has not thought of the seriousness of the issue of hiding/not declaring all your mum's meds/problems. As others have said it will invalidate the insurance. Has she really thought through what will happen if your mum is taken ill abroad with one of these issues. Insurance companies try and wriggle out of paying out at the best of times. One call to her GP would give them the ammunition they would need. Sorry if I am being blunt. :o

I do have a vague recollection I had the choice of not covering myself for anything that they thought could have been connected with the chest infection but hospital bills, if you need to be transported home etc far outweigh not taking the right cover.

I really hope for you that it all works out you must be worried sick. x

Walkers 24 packs seem to be going into a multi - currently £3 online each and scanning as this but on the promo shelving unit in my store at £3.92 each - chances are they going into a 2 for £5/£5.50/£6 multi overnight or next day or so?

One to watch - currently £3 in T or S so not major savings but better than nothing if they glitch.

Nice if they are going up in price. As that would be £2.44 off £5 (£3.92-£3.00+30p 10% x2) instead of useless 60p if they remain at £3 individual (and if they go onto unseen 2 for £5 multi offer). Hope it's not 2 for £6 though:rotfl:, as that will push the cost up:(. (Unfortunately it probably will be 2 for £6 as the supermarkets like to match the prices elsewhere:(, although perhaps only when their customers buy more.)
  • I've just got home to find that we have no milk, bread, onions or toilet roll..... how the dickens did that happen!

The toilet roll tower and the wall of cat food are gone! :(

I was worried that the cat food would out last the cat! :o

Don't go for the Fairy liquid 1050ml (apple or pomegranate) at £2 in M. It's part of a "cleaning event", that's just started in M, which I suppose should rule it out completely at the outset:rotfl:. I had a brief thought of it being £1 for a moment then - and that itself would be IMO excessive as we have had some from A at similar size for only 50p in the past - but I see from my notes that they are £2:eek:.

:eek:The important point is that that works out more expensive than even getting the 870ml in M on 2 for £3 pricing (and those go down to individual £1.33 so are a bit dear on the mbuy on that count). I don't rule the 1050ml out because they are in an event, but the maths make them no good.

Meanwhile, I noticed the 450ml own label WULs. The Lemon one should (IMO) compare from the 500ml Lemon one in A but it did not - a womble with it for me returned N/A a number of weeks ago - I think the price collectors have not seen that it is within the weight range - being on one of the boundaries in fact. It compared against T adjusted from T's 50p (T also 450ml). However, it's no longer 50p in M in any event. In fact it is now higher individual price and 2 for £1:wall:.

I noted the Cadbury Twin Pots have gone to 50p in M. Which is way too dear as the best offer was something like 78p 2 for 1 - so, 34p each on that offer. These were 3 for £1.50 last week in M - so, no change in price there then:wall:!
