    ...

I pity his poor girlfriend  I'm sure he wanted to go again, as far as he was concerned he wanted to make 80 :D I am not interested in cars/bikes etc, but I do love his shows, did you see him help with the spitfire?

    ...
I'm a massive Guy fan and have watched him many times, both on TV and gone to watch him racing :)

I was convinced he was going to go again anyway regardless of whether he'd been told not to :rotfl:
I don't think I would have the nerve to watch him live  He does seem to like a challenge, and he is utterly mad :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

If it hadn't been live TV I am sure he would have gone again, and again, until he made 80, I don't think even he could go faster than that due to the G forces

I can highly recommend his book - a very good read. Perfect to read in dribs and drabs on your sunbed on holiday (although I read it over just 2 days)

GUY MARTIN: WHEN YOU DEAD, YOU DEAD

Regards the Wall of Death, increasing the diameter would reduce the G force per MPH achieved thus allowing a rider to go faster before feeling the same level of "distress"

However Guy's riding position was probably the worse he could have chosen. Head high in the air, feet very low down, creating a long vertical "G affected" distance between them.
Need to be more in this "laying down" position

Would probably been able to break the 100 mph barrier.

Other than the crash shown on the program here is another "famous" GUY photograph ..

The Senior TT at the 2010 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy races

    IOM-3.jpg

The thing in the air on fire is Guy's petrol tank.
The thing on the road bottom right is Guy's leg and foot ...
(fortunately still attached to the rest of his body)
... still travelling somewhere between 150 and 170 mph

I've got the book and I was keeping it for when we do manage to go away, whenever that may be. I've had my nose in there that many times I'm going to have it read by the time does come to go away. It's a book that's got to be read, a cant put down book isn't it :)

He's had some horrendous accidents but at times its just thrills and spills to him :)

Ok I'm going to get on now, back later fir the big switch on. I wish I could watch this on my web cam :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
