Have we been watching the Night Manager?
What a cracking series. Apparently Roper, Andrew and pinky all went to the same school. It's not what you know........:DTo do is to be. Rousseau

I could have gone out for a night out tonight, and enjoyed myself in that way (and, in theory, I still could - not too late to go out!). And I would have spent £30, £80 - easily - on a night out. Drinking, taxi fares etc. However I have stayed in and gone for the quiet life - nice, non-hectic, not having to do much. So, by not going out, I've saved that money anyway (...but probably spent it on heating (and lighting) for the house:rotfl:, that would have been switched off if I'd gone out! - maybe I ought to go to bed, the heating can be off then, as well as the lights! And the television that costs about 2p per hour to have on (as if that will break the bank!). However, I could just stay in bed and not get up in the first place and save money - everything, at some point, has its cost). Nonetheless, I've not spent money tonight on going out - although, instead that money will be spent on a future night, when I go out or have a meal out. But I could have gone tonight and easily spent £35 anyway, but haven't so may as well have saved more or less the same thing through doing 'nothing'.0

Yes, I know I put it in a convoluted way. I thought about that as I was posting it: I could have put it in a more succinct way. But I didn't and that's just the way I write, so you just have to deal with it I'm afraid. As you always do:rotfl::T.
In theory an offer such as this - which gives you a profit - is something you should always go for (if you've not already done so and it disqualifies you) and it makes no sense not to. I can see that, and see it very clearly indeed. I would go for it everyone if I were you - and obviously only ever spend the £20, no more! However, I want a rest:rotfl::wall::rotfl:.
(I realise now that I am saying that people should do something that, on this occasion, I am not - or at least I am unlikely to do if my [Strike]feeling[/Strike] thoughts don't change within the next hour and very quickly. However, it is not possible to be perfect and completely consistent in every way on every occasion, so I am leaving it like that.)0 -
