A womble with cat foods on has got to give something surely?;):)
No, it's these blasted things again:mad::mad::mad:, £2.75 Felix:(:
Vs M
1x Felix As Good As It Looks Pouches Ocean Feasts in Jelly (12X100) £2.75 £4.57:(
1x Felix As Good As It Looks Pouches Meat Selection in Jelly (12X100) £2.75 £4.67:eek::(_pale_
:mad::mad::p:rotfl:
But Morries do have the Ocean Feasts after all this time as the price collectors have now found it (was this the one that was N/A and, by omission, helped one of my previous wombles?:D). May have been Ocean Fish. Fish. Feasts. Who cares?!? M's price is no good anyway, so I'm not looking at it!:):mad::(:rotfl:0 -

But for some strange reason when I look in the mirror I see someone older looking back at me!! Also for some strange reason I have 6 foot hairy men living in my house.... and they call me mum!!!

Watching 'The Autistic Me' on BBC1. I was disappointed to see QT wasn't on tonight but this has made up for it. I remember watching this a couple of years back when I maybe couldn't identify with it so much.
After a few weeks of 'planning' DS2 future with various people from school, children's services and other agencies, it really resonates with me. It frightens me and it fills me with hope and tears in equal measures. A very well made programme0 -
Last go at the checker. (Might go to the checkout later:rotfl:.) A womble with Easter eggs will save me - sadly not the big ones.
Ooh. Not bad. Not a massive amount, but another £1.80.
Having to settle (again:() for T on mbuy as the M comp. doesn't turn out as good overall - but not bad:).
6x Cadbury Creme Egg Medium Easter Egg (138G) £6.00 £6.00
Like you do!
At least vs T though I get the Yorkshire Puddings comparing so 10% off:
1x ASDA Smartprice 15 Yorkshire Puddings (230G) £0.48 £0.49
Vs M - as we now expect:
1x ASDA Smartprice 15 Yorkshire Puddings (230G)£0.48 N/A
They are 48p in M, or maybe 49p - I have conflicting SELs on that and one store has both 48p and 49p on the shelving at the same time - so who can tell? I have no idea what price M actually is - expecting APG to be N/A in any event so I'm not bothering with them. If they are no longer comparable, then they were quite a few months ago and as far as I can see there was simply a change in the design of the pack size (or possibly only its colour) in M months ago now that has, sadly, confused the APG from that point on and they have never compared vs M ever since. It took ages for them to start to compare against M in the first place - but this comp, and the Carrots, has been lost for a while now.
Vs T (not for us again)
1x ASDA Grower's Selection Trimmed Sprouts (250G) £1.00 £0.89:)
In fact:
13 items (8 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda tesco
1x ASDA Little Angels Sensitive Cotton Soft Baby Wipes (64) £0.64 £0.65
2x ASDA Grower's Selection Trimmed Fine Beans (205G) £2.00 N/A
1x ASDA Little Angels Supreme Protection Nappies Size 6+ (24PK) £3.75 £3.46
6x Cadbury Creme Egg Medium Easter Egg (138G) £6.00 £6.00
1x Colman's Classic Mint Sauce (250ML) £1.00 £1.00
1x ASDA Grower's Selection Trimmed Sprouts (250G) £1.00 £0.89
1x Colman's Original English Mustard (100G) £0.85 £0.85
1x ASDA Smartprice 15 Yorkshire Puddings (230G) £0.48 £0.49
1x Bisto Reduced Salt Gravy Granules (170G) £1.00 £1.00
1x Disney Minnie Mouse Milk Chocolate Egg with Choc Bar (115G) £1.50 N/A
1x Thomas & Friends Thomas & Friends Bumper Pack (80G) £1.00 N/A
Comparison total (compared products only) £14.72 £14.34
+£0.38 cheaper
Everything not 10% cheaper than T!:T:T:D
Shame the Bisto granules aren't 60-odd p in T like they sometimes go down to. 62p:D - I remember:o:o:rotfl:. Glad they bought an even number of the comparable eggs I suppose. Unless they want to buy 11 the same:rotfl:. No need for that £1.50 egg there IMO and putting that money there.
Do I get the best comp. available on every comparable item though?
Sadly not:(, as this is the M comp on this item:
1x Colman's Original English Mustard (100G) £0.85 £0.84
So, slightly not the best.
Trimmed Beans either lose (vs S and W) or are non-comp. (vs T and M) - so, on one of the 'right' comps. vs T.
The Minnie Mouse egg and, to some extent, the Thomas & Friends pack, are useless fillers as N/A vs everywhere:rotfl:. However, had they omitted the Colman's Mustard from their shop, as not best vs T, I would have had about 8 or 9p less on the womble than I've got:doh:. So, still thanks they bought that on this shop:T.
I like it when everything is not 10% cheaper than a specific competitor (as far as compares against that competitor and, preferably, not to see any non-comparable items against that competitor that are significantly cheaper for another competitor - unless that means the voucher, against them, is much higher - and preferably everything not to be 10% cheaper than that place in turn!). A proper, true Elite shop. (Unless it's literally hopeless 29p veg. and other items well cheapest in A that happen to be 8 or more items but no unnecessary buying that was done to see what the comparison would be and not intended to give any APG - but even the 29p, much of it, now a bit of an overpayment as Aldi is 25p. It adds up with multiple purchases - thanks to that, I paid 16p more than necessary this afternoon:eek:! If only I'd known:( (story of my life...).) Almost a proper Elite shop, fortuitously:(:rotfl:, on the womble there as only a penny out on one item:).0 -
At the end of February I ordered a Lenovo all in one computer online from PC world and collected it instore.
Its windows 10 which is a big jump for me as I have been using Vista and also an iPad and I took it in to my local computer shop (to a guy I have used for years and who is extremely good with computers) and got him to set it up for me, install various programs such as Office etc and generally get it running as I wanted it.
All worked well for a few days and then it started playing up - freezing completely several times a day. Took it back to local guy who did a system restore and re-installed all my extra bits - he thought the problem was caused by a rather large Windows update not installing properly.
Again, all worked well for a few more days - and now the B***** thing has started to freeze again ! The only way to get it going is to pull the plug and then re-start it.
I want to take it back to PC World and get a refund as it just isn't working and there appears to be some basic in-built problem. I can't see that it can be fixed by doing another restore as it didn't work for long last time and I'm really not satisfied that the computer is fit for purpose. I'm out of pocket anyway because I obviously paid the local guy to set it all up.
I reckon PC World will not be too happy to do a refund and am wondering exactly what I have the right to insist on. Its not a month old yet and the troubles started a couple of weeks ago.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Was the computer running ok before your local guy installed whatever on it?.
If it was do a system restore see how it goes a mate of mine had a load of problems with a comp he bought from a local shop turned out a dodgy copy of windows had been installed.
Anyway office is not cheap to buy legit maybe a few corners have been cut who knowsWhen The Fun Stops Stop0 -
