These really are £8 instore aren't they?

Do check - I can't check much in A! They are a bit speculative again - the Breakfast Biscuits, I thought they might be but they were not:(, this Finish, I don't think it is but it might be! Probably is if I don't think so:rotfl:. Just needs someone whose got the eyes that I can't have in every place:cool:.

I like it when I find a 'good' item that's not on msm for M:j:D:

50p in M. Obviously the M equivalent, not the A item:rotfl:. I picked this up from the one store I was in on Tuesday; so, to be on the safe side, I would wait until the Wednesday price collection was updated in case it wasn't 50p on Monday. However, Princes canned fruit could work out better (M 74p) if only mbuys for A would disappear online:rotfl:.

Any invisible trigger to the A offer? Back to the old way, although I think we've concluded that having the mbuys disappear altogether online but then buying instore on the mbuy is the best way:cool:. Nonetheless, 5 on mbuy with one missing would fit in with the Morries number. Which has, of course, a much cheaper price than the ones offered instore by A.

    50p any 5 for £2.00

    50p any 4 for £1.00

Obviously there's different flavours available on the offer in M; I just highlighted one at random. Maybe several different items and fewer fillers needed! If they pick up mix and match against M.

Almost unbelievably, I have now updated the M list. But only from the information from my stores on Monday, plus the store I went into yesterday. So I am ready to check again today, to see what has changed. I still have lots and lots of items from the stores from the end of last week to add to the list, like I had before Monday. I will eventually get to them, but it's looking like Thursday or Friday at the earliest before I stand any chance of doing so:(. Don't worry Aberystwyth - I will get to adding the Gym Bag at 48p that I found in your store, that has been in none of the 65 other stores at the times I've been in those in the last two and a half months:rotfl:. Perhaps it will turn up at my store later today - I never know!:D May be cheaper just to buy an ordinary 'bag for life' carrier bag:eek::rotfl:.

I've resolved the one unsatisfactory item I had from Monday. It was not in my first store at all. It was in my second store, but I doubted the price I saw. My third store did not have it at all or any SEL for it and neither did the smaller store yesterday. However, it turns out that I have, from a brief glimpse through my earlier information - I certainly can't get to putting any of it onto the list yet sadly - I picked up the item in a store on Saturday - I have noted that the offer was valid until 22nd April - precisely because I believed this item was rare and I might never come across it in my local stores - and the price I have is a different (lower!) one to what I've taken from my store on Monday:rotfl:. I was right - I could not trust that! I'm going by the lower price, which it will be - the fact an offer is on, let alone until 22nd April, is not showing (as of Monday) in my usual store! (:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

The item is also not on msm or m.com, so - I did check first just now, before I saw my own note-down from Saturday - so I could not get it from online! It was in an unsatisfactory state from my nearby stores. Glad I get out and about a bit these days:rotfl:.

Aberystwyth is very far away from me - I think the farthest out I have been yet on my 'M tour', but I travelled through some very nice parts of the world. After I'd visited the store, I travelled out to my next store and, after a few miles, came to a sign saying, to get to my next destination, I had 40 miles:eek::rotfl::rotfl:. I just kept going until I eventually got there. Probably about three hours from Aberystwyth to the next store after the next one! However, I got back home and I've put some more petrol in my car - not paid too much - and it's already at full! So, it turns out it wasn't an overly costly journey. Very good value for money in fact for the distance I covered! I'm sure if I went by train over those distances, the cost would be way way more. You spend less travelling at 50mph on A roads than you do at 70mph on motorways. You don't have many (or even any) As out there - I checked just in case and found none on the store locator beforehand. In fact, search for it on the store locator and the entire of Wales comes up, with only about 10 A stores. The nearest is Pwllheli, miles away in North Wales, otherwise a store that looks a lot nearer to Swansea, South Wales. No As in mid-Wales at all! So, I had to make do with M. Which was not that bad:rotfl: (and some really nice scenery on the way - not that I can look at it all when I am looking along the road where I'm driving; nonetheless I did obviously see some of it - a nice drive:T).

    See you later.

If I'd got to that part of my information earlier, I could have posted it earlier. I'm getting to whatever I get to whenever I do - I'm doing a good job! - so that's that. In no particular order:rotfl:. It's just - whatever came out in whatever layout of the aisles happened to be in the Ms I used! It doesn't matter as people can still check it a little later. I get to A sometimes - having something I meant to check, and then forget to do so, and just end up remembering as soon as I get home:(:rotfl: and then just do it the next time I happen to be there. If I remember:rotfl:.

In answer to your question, very well thank you.:D

    Anyway, goodnight folks.

All wines in T. are in the offer Savvy.

Well, I can't check all wines in T in M:eek::rotfl::rotfl:. Crikey!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: So, you'll just have to make do with [next to] no information from M - or with checking what's online.:p:rotfl::rotfl::T

Eventually, at some point, I may, at some stage in my life, get to obtaining details of every wine in T and then checking all of that list in M. However, it will be a 'special project' thing and, I think, require a whole day of a collection in itself. And even then, when one M has been checked, we still won't have the full of what is in M. Although I suppose I can rule out all T's own label wines these days:T:(:rotfl:. (It's times like this I wish M would do what T sometimes does and highlight higher prices elsewhere on some of its items - at least then I could easily be directed by M as to what to buy at T.:D:rotfl:naughty:) Best of luck on any wine comp. shops you attempt! I will not get to any attempt to check all comparable wines from T to M anytime before the offer ends I feel! Much as I would really love to know - and I feel T should be made to publish the information itself and tell us to correct a market failing that results from us having a lack of perfect information that we're assumed to have! How can we make adequate purchasing decisions and act as rational consumers otherwise?

Anyway, bye for now people:wave:. (A little heavy there:eek::rotfl:.)

EDIT: :idea:I can however check for some branded wines for offer prices. I am however already likely to have the lowest priced wines (though tbh I am not going much above £3 these days and that means I don't catch a lot) - do the Echo Falls Fruit Fusions count? I think there's a couple of Gallos that are on offer in M that will be on msm. There's also, from memory, a Sorso Chianti at £5 - however I think that is an RTC price which should not be compared to by T under its rules:(. (So that's effectively 'ruled out' - I don't even know whether T stock it - I only know what I see in M and would normally be collecting in M and then checking what I get to see if any match up - which, in this way, would be rather fruitless as a lot of them I feel won't be stocked at T. Otherwise I have to get what's in an mbuy offer from a competitor and then check for that in M - but on this occasion obviously it's too expansive!) What is the highest M price you would compare any wine in T to? So that I can confine to branded wines in M that are at or below that price. (And if it's too high, it's not going to be of much use - I'd be there all day just getting wine details and nothing else!) You'll find anything that's comparable and really good anyway - you lot always do:rotfl:.

    Bye now:wave:.

Actually I have just come back for a moment as I've had a thought. About the Herbal Essences shop at 1.30pm failing. My last shop was done at nearly 2.25pm and it worked - I checked at a rather just before 4.25. So, sorry, underperky, if you'd checked the shop earlier, I think it probably would have worked. Having checked it too late, it's now got forever the new data:(.

Moral, I think, is to check as soon as the 2 hours is up (probably 3 hours next week:() if there is any changeover that might be due and if you want to have prices that have already been got before that time. It's no good saying you weren't able to check, as leaving it to the evening risks getting exactly what it sadly has got on this occasion. It's like shopping in the evening. With an M price update due, and seeing the old information was favourable, I just never left it like that and would be, as I did, getting out as early as I could (even then I still should have gone earlier than 2.25 really:eek: - tbh I thought even my - crikey - 11.20am:eek::eek: shops could have been way too late in the day) as I knew there was a risk if I shopped later in the day - or too late as turns out. I think 6am start next time alright?:rotfl::rotfl: Really, seriously though, it is just risking it even more the later it is done, as the update could have come unexpectedly early - sometimes, rarely, has been Tuesday morning (in fact I think it usually was - until the 'new' APG of late).

Sorry to all the failed shops. Goodnight again.:)

    Hello mhoc

I have to say if I was her I'd want to steer clear of high st chain dresses as well :o it's obviously important to her and the hiring sounds like a good compromise to buying expensive so go with it.

I had a catalogue dress......can't remember if it was freemans or Kay's :rotfl::rotfl: but yes there are times I wished I'd had a 'proper' dress. I guess those catalogue dresses were the equivalent of today's high st ranges. Mine had a peplum :o :rotfl::rotfl: Who'd have got married in the 80s?

Glad you got your treacle cat sorted out. I have a couple of drive bys at the moment and I've made a cat coop out of an old chicken coop for them. They can't come in because I can't be sure they aren't flea ridden yet! That will make 4 cats :o I was always destined to be a cat lady :D

Good morning nice to see you posting
