Something like the Marigold Gloves situation is something that I have to check a further M on though, because it more often turns out that, when a few in a range are not showing an offer price on the SEL, it's more usual that they are all on offer but the first store I've been in has only altered part of the SELs again. The usual "half a job" situation that I encounter. Given the number of items I check, it's impractical to take all of range to the tills and scan them. So I carry around a (hopefully small - in practice around 30-50 items, which, I suppose, in the context of a store, is quite small) list of items from one store to the next. And then
(:rotfl: I do like it really), onto a third store if enough items are still outstanding after that - usually nearly every one of those that I had outstanding from the first store in the first place:rotfl::(:( - hopefully not - but sometimes I am still not happy about the majority of the "query" items or at least would like to have a third opinion as to what the price might be and so I look for them anyway at the next store. And then, rarely hopefully, onto a fourth with fewer items, until all complete (or as much as I will find from my local stores at any rate).
The Quaker Oats pots were ones that were unsatisfactory from three stores a few weeks ago. I went with them to a fourth store - and, still not happy there, as although one further one (that wasn't in any of the other stores) was showing an RTC, the entire rest of the range was showing full price - yet at least part of that must have been wrong since one of those, showing full price there, was showing the RTC at a previous store. Unfortunately I could not take the full range to the tills to check which, if any, of them were on RTC offer. I could just not make my excuses I felt there. So, they remained somewhat unsatisfactory - and I just put the ones I had showing RTC anywhere onto the list but there may have been more of them, that I was missing, that I saw only full price SELs for (but may have been RTC - shame I did not have a store that showed RTC across all it had). The following collection, two days later, all of them were showing full price - and I took a random one and scanned it and it was full price. There is another - but this is different - Quaker Oats Pot on 70p RTC even now (as far as I am aware) in M but this is one that has been kicking around from earlier and - note it has cleared out of many stores and its chances of being picked up may be not very high given that I have found it still around only in one recent store for me. Out of 11. So, I don't know - maybe 50:50 chance - or perhaps slightly more - given that 6 stores are checked. My 11 turned it up in one store, so maybe a 6 would happen on the one store that has it (and I suspect it's not just one - it will be elsewhere still) - then again, if I had picked different stores, I could have had it in two or three or more of them - so I just never know!
It's on the list already. I did not see it on Monday (or in the one store today - that number of four stores, from yesterday and today, already counted in the 11). However, it will still be around and it will still be at its RTC price until it clears - or maybe they never truly do. Things from six months ago can still be found, with the odd unit of stock, in M somewhere - or even longer than six months in my now experience! (I did not expect to see it yesterday or today, and I did not. These are my more regular nearby stores - and I found the RTC item was in another store distant from me, so it would not be found in my local stores as they have proved inadequate in finding some stuff before as we know:rotfl:. All those lollies I crossed off previously, only to find over ten different ones still around somewhere else, one here, one there, two here, a set here but not others, when I started to widen my collection. I still haven't got any of them now and they are still on my list:rotfl:. I know some went up in price, and some of which are in my regular stores now, so those were taken away some time ago and not in issue anymore - not looking for them!:D - but the other ones, that I suspect may still be RTC, I haven't seen the majority of those for some time. I reckon they are still available somewhere. I am going from one I found - and it was still RTC - only a few weeks ago! So I know where that is, which store, perhaps it's still there and perhaps I'll come across it - or one of the others - sometime soon. Meantime, I've come across the seemingly more rare Cornetto 5 pack more recently:rotfl:. If that's an APG store, they will have that constantly. But if not and if it's rare like it is for me, then it seems most unlikely for them to have it other than N/A. Ideally we need someone on a womble to buy the thing!:rotfl: But even then I could not tell if it was that store that is one they use - the womblee might have bought the one that didn't have the SEL in that store rather than the other one (that didn't have any physical stock when I visited:rotfl: - and that may be N/A if that hasn't been physically seen by the collectors for over 7 days).
Glad you know how my price collection works:rotfl:. All irrelevant to you actually saving any money:rotfl::rotfl:.0 -

She has gone off to bed in tears and I had to go and tuck her in. My poor baby.
Its awful isn't it? I can relate to what she is going through, as when I split with my ex husband I was just in pieces, but seeing it as a parent is so hard.
Thank you cjj, you always say such lovely things, and really are a very special person. :A

Mr TM likes Americano
You need £35 for free delivery
So 8 packs less the £10 code works out at £25.92
Not brilliant but good if you are needing them:)TrulyMadly wrote: »I've made £12 from wombles and lots more to claim if I can find receipts:rotfl:

A question please. Does anyone know of any places that hire wedding dresses?
Eldest child has been looking and only found a place in Cardiff which is at least 3 hours away from either of us and she says its the only place in the uk - ???
