Flipping heck  how bad is that. So sorry to hear this but as you say, you can't do anything about it. Maybe one of the other interested parties may still be interested enough to step up X

Unfortunately not...They have have found properties elsewhere...:(

You know what, I was just thinking that your mum would have loved it, the kitchen I mean, well the larder as well. You so deserve this re-do TS after making do, it's your turn sweetheart X

Thanks for those kind words AJ. x

My mum would have fainted over the cost. :o But I know all she ever wanted was for me to be happy. At first I felt guilty where the money came from but having first the garage done, then the bathroom it has made such a difference to my life and I can't take the money with me, so I am going to enjoy it now. :A

Bless my dad he worked hard for the bungalow, he would have loved that we are getting the kitchen opened up it was something he always wanted to do to his but never got around to it. I thought of him last week as the day we started to rip out the old kitchen was the date he passed away. :A

When I read the thread this morning I did feel a bit sad that I won't have elderly parents to look after in my 60s. :o I always knew as they were older parents I would lose them sooner but felt far too young in my early 30s when my dad passed away. :(

I was very lucky to have such wonderful parents I know some people don't mine were not perfect but now I remember the good things so fondly. :)

Oh my goodness, I have severe larder envy. Sadly I have a tiny narrow kitchen so could never accommodate one.

Thank you for the socks yesterday tweets, dispatch email arrived this morning.

Had to do a muggle shop today as we had no fresh stuff in. I had to part with £21.13, which broke my heart lol. Trying hard to ignore Easter egg talk...
