Good morning all, looks like we had rain here last night, but the sun is trying to come out now

quoia, I really wish more drivers had to at least cycle before getting behind the wheel, a lot of them have no idea how much space to give a cyclist, they seem to think that so long as they miss the handlebars it is OK :eek: The worst thing is I have had two incidents of cars opening their doors without looking behind, making me change course, and they were both police cars.

I also wish they would teach them to look both ways before pulling out. We have a local Lidl where the access road is very badly placed, there is a junction with a residential road onto the main road, and the access road is just a short way up the residential road, and I mean you swing round to the left to go to Lidl or you swing round a bit less to come home. There are lights controlling this junction, and they sit on the access road watching the lights and pull out when they turn green, the vast majority do not look left before pulling out. They think the lights are for the access road, they are not. The only reason there has not been a major accident there is that we know about the idiots pulling out.
