Can anyone please advise me on what to do if your teen is showing signs of depression but says there is nothing wrong. You know when you know your child and something just isn't right. I'm at a loss. Tia xx
It's difficult with teenagers cjj because you have to factor in hormones, spots, exam stress, relationship break ups and more. I think it's a case of looking for persistent signs especially irritability and changes in eating and sleeping patterns.
What about seeking some professional help? Do you have a good GP you can turn to or a trusted teacher or close relative who would be a good listener?
Keep the lines of communication open ...always be there in a supportive role.......I always found late night chats were productive or giving them a lift somewhere...you don't have to face each other in the car....it sometimes makes chatting easier.

:hello:Busy day but I'm just popping in as I have a glitch on some ale on a womble dated yesterday, which has made Morries cheaper on the overall shop:D. This will be England and Wales only, since Scotland don't have mbuys and NI don't have Morries comps. (NI have to put up with Sains at £4.80 on total of all three on this.) This assumes the invisible trigger 50601496 triple zero 3 missing digit is still ongoing today. There may be other good comps. in the same A mbuy and, NI, could be versus elsewhere. These are on 4 for £5 - they bought the optimum number:D:T:T:T with the above no-show.
3x Thwaites Wainwright Golden Ale (500ML) £5.40 £3.75
They actually bought the one that's on offer in M:D:T:rotfl: (wish it were £1 rather than £1.25 but never mind) - and it's even already on my list (wish it was £1:rotfl:).
That's what I want them to do - pick up three of the Wainwright Ale together with a single purchase of an invisible trigger. They bought this nice item on the shop too (although 10% cheaper than whatever at M is picking up £2.33 is too much for me) and with items that didn't lose too much vs M!
1x ASDA Chosen by You Meat Feast Stuffed Crust Pizza with Dip (500G) £3.50 £2.33
I didn't know a new thread had started, but if I can have 7:eek: posts in a row starting at post 200, many thanks.:)0 -

Thankyou TM, as you know I'm a worrier. But my mental health problems really took a turn for the worse at the age my ds is now........... I didn't get help for 25 years. If he is suffering I just want to help but he is denying there is a problem. I really hope there isn't, he means the world to me and I couldn't bear to see him go through the hell I've been through xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

I'd echo TM comments. Remember parents are often more anxious than their children (it is natural and is called love)
I'd also try to raise their confidence, and remove as much stress/pressure as possible (it is important that children know that they can fail... it is actually good for them).
Schools are a great resource, they can monitor children and also provide a first line of support.
If the concerns are such your GP can refer to CAMHS, many of which have early help provision.
Remember to look after yourself as well x100 -
Sorry, no words of wisdom cjj but your son is lucky to have such a lovely, caring mum.0

The thing is that there may not be a problem at all.......and that's the likeliest scenario.....and with you keeping a watchful eye, if there is a problem you might be able to nip it in the bud.
How about giving your GP a ring in the morning and see if you can talk it through with someone? To do is to be. Rousseau

This next womble might be good too - last one of only three today (one ruled out as they bought 8 items but not 8 different). They've bought lots of £1 Easter eggs that are likely to be £1 M - lots of different ones and no more than ten of the same:D, together with SP UHT milk several times:), biscuits that might be 2 for 70p M, choc ice that should compare vs M, it doesn't look like they have bought anything too silly and just hoping that the £1.95 ice cream is the one that's £1 in M (pity they bought 2 for £3 on that).0

Thorntons Little Temptations Milk Chocolate Bites (150g)£1.99 £1.00 As above.[/Strike]:(Looks like A has moved to 110g versions at more expensive price by weight (than M on 150g). They are now in Savvy Buys for A but much worse on weight - in fact I think nothing at all in A's Savvy Buys is worth buying. Plus, if they are being downsized and M is still £1 offer into April, may be best to wait until after the offer has ended in case the 150g ones in M go onto much better RTC price before they move to 110g and we stop buying them entirely.
Pringles Tortilla Chips - Original (180g)£1.50 £1.00 RTC price in M - has worked two weeks ago, but may now risk drop off vs M. Or maybe not - I still have this in my Ms.
