    Evening all.
    Bubbs more hugs.
Just back from town after dropping off VT''s bubbly chocolate. :D
Neither of the perfumes are stocked in our store, so unable to test, sorry guys.:(
Also called into Morries for the pistachio nuts, as DS2 asked for some. Scanning at full price.:( Did manage some whoopsies though. :D
Picked up some wombles at A, most unusual for our local.
I bought some sun lotion that was expensive in A but cheap in S, so will report if there is a good comparison. They will be returned if they don't compare.
DH has got a pic of VT''s birthday cake, I'll post it later.

This is a lady who sends a text midday says she is in A and do you want anything then turns up at 5.20pm that is stamina in my eyes and I didn't know about the earlier W visit until she arrived:eek:
Plus I got an extra treat...... a shower non slip mat from pound land. I had mentioned the non slip bottom of my bath was slippy. Such an :A thinking of me.

Was having a shattered day so was lovely to get a delivery of chocolate. We did have a phone discussion that areo was same price and more grams per pack but tbh I really fancied the Cadbury one. Less grams equals less calories in my eyes:rotfl:

Hope wedding went well rhos and glad bubbs s home:T

I am thrilled to bits to have been able to help make your wedding anniversary extra special
You have taken it to the next level by getting the buyagift offer for dinner :T
Did you figure out how much your room would have cost?

I got 2 barclaycard hilton credit cards last year, one for me and one for Oh and as we had a few very expensive months including the washing machine dying on us a week before we went on holiday we got to the minimum spend very quickly and our vouchers arrived via email.
In July I started doing research on where to go and decided on Edinburgh. I rang Hilton up and a very nice chap said lets see if we can get it a very nice room so I booked in for a Saturday night.
Later when I had another though as I also had Ohs voucher so I decided to book Friday night as well
So we had a fabulous weekend in the Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh at the end of Princess Street on the last weekend in August at the end of the fringe Festival
We had a fruit plate, water and chocolates left in our room in the afternoon and chocolates left after the turn down service.
We had a room right at the top of the hotel overlooking the Edinburgh sky line and across to the forth and Edinburgh itself was buzzing
I had a Livingsocial deal for when we first got to Edinburgh for lunch and a bottle if wine at a wine bar close by,nectar Pizza Express offer paid for dinners, Greggs breakfasts, free drink vouchers for Neros and coffee and cake voucher for John Lewis so that was all of the vitals sorted out.
Next day we had a train trip out and we went out on the Firth of Forth on a cruise, another livingsocial deal and in between we walked all over Edinburgh

    Best weekend ever!

You had sound as if you had a fabulous weekend.:)

We are on the 8th floor overlooking the city its a little misty but we can see the eye lit up and a few other lights dotted around the skyline but we cant distinguish the buildings.
We have just had a lovely meal and the restaurant also gave us an extra dessert with happy anniversary written in chocolate on the plate which was a lovely gesture :)
Have now come back to the room, toiletries + towels replenished in the bathroom, and a couple of bottles of water in the bedroom-and the bed turned down.
Feeling very sleepy after a lovely meal and wine, cup of caffine now I think :)

Sure that's one of those RTC dressing gowns from debenhams :rotfl:

    What a beautiful cake:T

I have a new dressing gown a sort of patchwork Paisley thing from S.

It's my take on Tracey Emin bed. Shows my age:rotfl:
The pillows and quilt represent the fact I love my bed and sleep a lot due to my illness. Kindle was almost a tablet to read this forum but too confusing to convey to cake lady. Pink champayne as was birthday gift from very dear friend and the little dog is the one I am looking for to share my life with.

If I had done a Emin bed mum would have killed me but more likely to find choc wrappers than anything else on my bed.

Mr Ted was naturally distraught but he has made his own slideshow of the spa break which I will post when I have worked out how.
