I don't know whether to post this or not but it has got me really wound up.

Turkey is demanding 6 million euros to police their own borders and stop the people smugglers. They are currently doing nothing about it. They are allowing people to murder immigrants just to get money out of Europe. The most alarming part of it - they are demanding faster entry to the EU and visas for their people. I am sorry, but if a country as backward, corrupt and non-democratic as Turkey can bribe their way into membership I will be voting to leave.

♥ Thank You Birthday Twin ♥

and I'm back in the room :)

:o:p:p I must confess to entering the house & getting extremely angry, nothing has been done, it's a pig sty :eek::eek:
The washing I left drying was still hanging on airer in middle of hall, dirty washing on the washing basket & not in it :mad::mad:
Un hoovered floors :(:(:( sinks full of washing up - I despair - if it was his Parents house it would be immaculate

    My anger boiled over :o:o:o

we are all fuming mad for you, you have worked you socks off for weeks and to come home to this is a disgrace.

the same would happen in our house. I would give the place a good clean up so I could get a few hours uninterupted in the garden but when I got back in the place was turned upside down especially the kitchen  They just don't seem to see the mess they leave in their wake

Your weekend away sounds like just what you needed LEJC. Nice to have you back though.
Pies had been restocked in my T again. I think it must be just the two flavours, I haven't seen any others. I wonder if I can fit in one more visit tomorrow in between dropping Jas at the cattery and heading to the airport hotel...

You could just eat it on the way:D

what a really weird day - the sort of bizarre days I have frequently.

When we were on the tube last weekend at a stop a girl got up and left her phone, I saw it instantly and shouted to her - I think it shocked people as everyone looked - I just reacted instinctively - perhaps its not good tube etiquette to shout at random strangers?
anyway it was my good deed for the day :j

that phone call was very random - and very sad, someone looking for their mum and just working through a list of numbers and hoping against hope

Quite funny - reading backwards and I knew exactly whose this post was before I saw your name :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Run out of steam, one load of washing done, unpacked, given Fourp his presents & he has now gone to Chinese for a tasty supper :T

Credit to everyone who cares for someone, I've only done 2 weeks & I am drained, mentally & physically ♥

Good news I may have a part time job, doing what I was before but for a small village one as the owner is ill & his wife needs help :)

That does seem really odd. Do you think maybe someone else could have given her the number? That would certainly freak me out!

I got a call once from a number I didn't recognise asking for me by name. It was only Table table because DD3 had left her bag there  but it was an odd feeling at first I didn't know whether to say yes or no. :o
