Do acer laptops have connectivity issues?

Hi all,
Would like to get a ACER Aspire F5-571 15.6" Laptop from pcworld, very decent specs for price and the last acer lasted ages but it seems like acer laptops have been hit with connectivity issues.

I,m seeing it casually spread all over the Internet on forums and reviews, just a bit worrying.... Is this an old problem?

Thanks.

I bought one just a couple of weeks and so far I have had no problems. Apart from operator fault trying to get used to Windows 10 :o

I have had one of these for three weeks, made in 2014.

A few small problems but I am unsure if they are more to do with Windows 10. Problems this morning with copy/past. Intermittent problems seem to happen, touch pads left and right have reversed over night after altering other settings yesterday. Another problem to solve later.

I am not keen on the key pad layout but I will get used to it I am sure.

I got mine from Argos Ebay, I sent a Toshiba back.

Never had connectivity issues before, except with my router, but that's just Virgin Media routers for you!

The keypad might take some getting used to, I sometimes accidentally click instead of right clicking as there's no physical distinction on the keypad. But I do like the sensitivity of the keypad, it's much more responsive than HP laptops for instance. It feels a bit Mac like too.

Historically there certainly were problems with Acer connectivity, specifically wireless internet. I have an 8 year old acer Aspire laptop running windows XP that has never been stable with wireless internet.

As others have assured above, the problems would have been resolved years ago this is no longer a consideration when buying a new Acer.
