    Hi sorry but I may have misunderstood your message.

    Are you saying you weren't worried about the size of the pet flap or cat flap and that there is a curfew on pet flap but not on cat flap?

    Not sure I am too concerned about the ability to have a curfew as I don't really want to prevent my pets coming and going (at night or in the day). Just want to try to prevent other cats coming in.

    I also have the sureflap cat flap and it fitted straight into the hole that my previous cat flap was in, without the need for widening the hole. Also my very large male cat still managed to fit himself through the cat flap when he weighed a whopping 7kg, he is on a diet now and currently weights 6kg and fits through with no problems, so unless your cats are extremely fat, they will be fine with the cat flap rather than the pet flap!
