Does not yetsay where the cuts will be made - I suspect most of them will be from the power generation arm of the company.0

They made lots of office staff redundant, closing the operation in Stoke-on-Trent, a couple of years ago. Back office work went to India , but there were problems and rumours that work was coming back to the UK.0

I bet will be Newcastle that will go and the rest of oldbury. They were more than happy to take the jobs of people that they had no idea or experience of. I feel sorry for the northern ones that signed over to capita, as they will get zero as under 2 yearsDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I feel for those who are losing their jobs. It would seem that NPower's problems in the UK are very much linked to problems with its parent company, RWE, which lost £155M in 2015. Most pundits predict that the redundancies will be offshore posts. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I predict the Hull site will go. One side of the building is completely decrepit and many of the staff got laid off in the last round of cutbacks.
I'm glad I got out when I did!0 -
As expected 13 weeks ago it was only ever a question of time and true to form 52 weeks after the 'quiet sale' was offered to market it happened !
One UK post made redundant pays for dozens of offshore posts!, most [internal rumour] that are going are UK middle level super-jockeys on annual earnings of £25-30k pa.Most pundits predict that the redundancies will be offshore postsDisclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion.
