Debit card-refund??

Hi,
I hope someone can help. I bought some flowers from a company to arrive today for Mother's Day. It states on the website that it should arrive the day after ordering, I ordered on Thursday. They haven't arrived. I tried to find a contact number, but they only have an e-mail address. Is there any way I can get any sort of refund as I paid by debit card?

There are chargeback schemes for debit cards(but without section 75, so not as robust as with credit cards). You can try phoning your bank to see if they will reverse the transaction. I'd expect your bank to want you to try sorting it out with the supplier first. Depending on the t&c on the order you made, late delivery may or may not entitle you to a refund(i expect there is a caveat which says delivery is normally next day, but not guaranteed). I doubt a bank would refund you simply for late delivery, for none delivery yes.

Next time don't order flowers through dodgy websites without a telephone number.
