Deleting web sites visited on Windows 10

Good morning all. I have posted in this section before and always receives valuable replies.

I operate Windows 10. Recently we needed a new Toilet seat and visited web sites that sold them. We have found what we wanted and the new item fitted. Problem is how do I delete the web sites I visited whilst looking for them. Also pictures of toilet seats constantly appear on different web sites that both my wife and myself visit.
How do we delete these annoying pop ups etc. On the old Windows 7 all we did was use control panel and delete everything. Also there was a facility to delete what you had typed into the search bars like google and bing etc.
Any advice as how to do this would be greatly welcomed. We have had enough of toilet seat information.

Kind regards
