Sennheiser Warranty

The o/h's earphones aren't working correctly and fall within the two year warranty period (approx. 13months in). However going via their website, we only have the option to send them for repair to one of their authorised service companies.
So some questions
We have to pay for postage - is that recoverable if there is a fault?(not fussed either way just being thrifty!)
If they are faulty why aren't we getting a new pair?
Is repair the standard procedure, or would they offer replacement?

This warranty would be subject to the terms and conditions .
So yes if they ask for you to pay postage .

    >>If they are faulty why aren't we getting a new pair? >. Subject to T&C.

    Subject to T&C
    .

Warranty from the manufacturer is often strictly limited and an extra to your rights against the vendor under the Sale Of Goods Act .

Note faulty is something that can be user damage fair wear and tear or a manufacturing defect .
