Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!

Too late now, but I'd avoid using any registry cleaners. The file cleaning part of CCleaner is fine, though.
When you ran the registry cleaner, you would have been prompted to save a backup (as a .reg file). If you can "run" that file, you can undo the changes.
When you boot Windows, try hitting F8 repeatedly. You should see a menu that allows you to start Windows in safe mode or a recovery mode...? (I'm not sure as I don't have Windows 10). Hopefully you'll be able to get in somehow, and double-clicking the backup .reg file will get you back where you were.0 -
I sanction as above as esuhl has been pc troubleshooting for over 50 years and is the best in the universe. However, if that doesn't work try a system restore.“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself.”

Getting into Safe Mode, using F8, is a pretty hit and miss affair.
If you can get as far as the sign-in screen, you can restart in troubleshooting mode.
From the sign-in screen, click the power button symbol, and choose restart.
Choose Troubleshoot, from the list of options.0
