Mortgage on credit report

I have just been accepted for a mortgage and we complete next week however I have just been told that the mortgage company don't report data to experian, they only report to equifax

I'm trying to build my credit rating from nothing really as I have very little history. I'm just wondering if this would cause me problems applying for some credit cards in the future?

Surely having a mortgage will give significant boost in credit worthiness. However only creditors that check equifax credit report will see this.

Also surely declaring I'm a home owner on application and then they don't see evidence of it on my credit report could cause them to doubt it?

Also when it comes to remortgaging to a better deal I think it would cause the most issues as the new mortgage company may check experian and not see the mortgage history?

Any advise would be great thanks
