bamboozled by new laptop touchpad

just got a new Acer Aspire 15 F5-571-320G. My old laptop had 2 buttons under the touchpad which I regularly used for a) cut/copy and paste and b)for scrolling down pages by sweeping the touchpad, both timesaving compared to the alternative. I can still do a) by using a menu at the top of the page, and I can still do b) by clicking on the touchpad and holding it down then clicking/dragging the cursor on the rhs 'slider', but all this is taking time compared to what I've been used to. Can't seem to find any source of help anywhere to find a solution (assuming there is one and they wouldn't make a laptop with worse features than 6 yrs ago).

I haven't used an Acer touchpad but assuming it's similar to other multitouch touchpads, you usually scroll up and down by putting two fingers on the touch and sliding them up and down together. Tapping one finger left clicks and tapping two fingers on the pad right clicks also pressing in the bottom left corner should give a left click and pressing to the bottom right should give a right click.
If that's not working, go into the control panel, open mouse and then you should find the touchpad settings and see what gestures it supports.

Learn your keyboard shortcuts for cut copy and paste and that will be even quicker.
Ctrl x cut
Ctrl c copy
Ctrl v paste0 -
Just imagine the old pads are still there and just press down in the relevant corner.

They're multi-touch, so as above for scrolling. There's often even a 3-finger swipe gesture that does something or other. And pinch and stretch in some instances too0

There's no user manual, not even as a PDF on the laptop itself?
EDIT - downloadable from Documents section here, once you select the model
