Converting John Lewis vouchers to cash?

Hi,
I wondered if it was possible to convert approximately £250 worth of John Lewis Vouchers into cash?
I see many sell them on ebay for almost the face value, but I think we may be stung on paypal fees. I tried one Paypal calc and it came out at charging us £30.
We got them as wedding gifts, but would like to use the money elsewhere online.

You could also sell on the Zeek app https://www.zeek.me/ but they take a 7% fee and most buyers expect at least 5% discount on the face value of the card.
eBay of course take a 10% fee plus then there are PayPal fees on top of that, so Zeek could still work better.0 -
If they are all of £50 paper voucher, you can use each voucher for a small amount of purchase in Waitrose. You will get cash for change. Warning: make multiple trips instead of doing all in a single trip to avoid suspicion.0

Yes, I did the same as qsk said. I bought one item at Waitrose with one voucher and got the rest back in cash. Best option.0

I bought bed sheets in store with gift vouchers and paid difference with credit card
I returned the bed sheets and the full amount was refunded on my credit card - I was given the option of cash refund for the gift voucher amountNice to save.0 -
Some good tips there actually.
I do have one card with £200 on it... then I think I have some more but smaller amounts, £30 or £50.0 -
I wonder if i can buy something online with my vouchers, then return it to a store for the value to be put on my debit card?0

They will put your refund on a gift card as thats how you paid for it.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. If they are on an electronic card , you will not be able to do the "get change in cash" option. They will just swipe the card and tell you that you now have £150 ( or whatever ) left. Trick only works for paper vouchers0 -
damn.
Had seen a good deal on a laptop on ebuyer today so was going to pull the trigger, and cash in the vouchers.
I was hoping by buying online and doing the return in store they wouldnt know what method I paid for it, and would just put it on my debit card.0
