Windows 10 upgrade - mail not sync

I updated to windows 10 on monday since which my mail will not sync. I can see new mail on my phone but I only get a "mail not sync" message on my laptop.
I have read on the web that this was a problem, but the posts are last autumn, none described a working solution.
Has anyone on MSE found a solution?

Sounds familiar. If using the standard Windows 10 Mail app, it needs resetting...(sorry this page is advert heavy)
