I am still in my fee free first year until May.
I just make £3 per month in cash back as I use TSB debit card contactless for Aldi & Lidl shops at the moment, 5% instead of 1%.
I have £3100 stoozed so making £7 per month on that until April 2017 so no plans on ditching it yet.

I'm keeping my 123 card as my petrol expenses alone more than cover the monthly fee. However on a general level I do find myself having to think more carefully about what card to use when paying for things...

    1) can I use contactless? If so use TSB debit card.

    2) if I can't use contactless, does the purchase qualify for 1/2/3% on Santander card?

    3) if not i then lean towards Halifax clarity, but only if I'm confident I can reach the £300 threshold.

    4) if clarity is not an option then it's my 0.5% cashback c/c with capital one or Amex if accepted.

I'll almost be glad when TSB stop the 5% cashback on contactless transactions as at least it's one less option to consider!

Before I discovered this site everything just went on my one and only Tesco credit card.... Those days seemed so much simpler (although a lot less profitable of course!).

Natwest's home page made me smile: "1,2,3 reasons to choose our Reward current account."

Overall TSB Classic plus and Natwest Reward go well together. But don't forget the TSB 5% cashback on up to £100 of contactless payments.
