Wanna buy modern sofa under 1000 pounds

Hi There.

I am on the market for new corner sofa. Need a quality one however have got budget 1000 pounds to spend.
Any suggestions for online shops or what to take into consideration.

I did a research myself and market is huge. Problem is i can't afford to buy a crap. Most of the shops offers returns (law requires that) but returning sofa is also problematic and i would love to make a good choice... instead of trying out returns service quality and waist time on waiting for the new sofa to be delivered ..:)

Buying online has a huge drawback: you can't sit on the sofa and check how comfortable it is, which is the major consideration. If you are spending up to £1,000, well worth a trip into your nearest big town to go and try a few.

I Agree with you however you buying sofa online you can really got more for less... Which means you can get really quality piece comparing to the high street.

And 1000 is not that much when you go on the high street....
That is the prob....I would expect really gorgeous and quality piece spending 1000 and If I go to the shop then I'll check but get the "average" for that money

Can't spend more and can't afford for spending on new sofa within 1-3 years time.
Many shops sending the swatches however it is all about the look and the comfort.... not only the look.

BTW I want to go modern... and that makes my job even more difficult. As i can choose between 300 pounds crap sofas or 3000 Italian stuff.
Really hard to find the one which has got that all and I could afford for that.

hang fire until DFS have a sale you can get proper bargains £3000 sofa for under a £1000 that's a proper bargain

Your budget seems to have increased dramatically since you were looking at IKEA sofas for less than £1k.:D;)

I was at ikea. The look is awesome but not the quality.

BTW budget remains the same....I have got less than 1K to spend and expect the quality.

I love some of the pieces at sofa.com but if you go for modern and for nice fabric then price goes crazy.
I found nice sofa at Funique.co.uk but do not know the shop that well so a little bit afraid.

DFS - could be also a good direction.

It's only a bargain if the sofa is worth £3000. In the case of DFS, that is very unlikely.

OP the Ikea Stockholm sofas are a very good build and within your budget.

All these are awesome. I will get some more info on each piece. DFS looks nice but 50% over my budget.

From the other hand DFS offers nice finance on the sofas so going over the budget doesn't have to pain that much.
