    The other alternative is to use hit & miss fencing which lets some wind through like a hedge, or windbreak netting, although the latter doesn't look nice and serves best as a temporary defence until something natural grows sufficiently.

    I have a polycarb greenhouse, and have lost 3 panels over the winter. My resident handyman (DH!) is going to silicon seal all the panels into place when he "reglazes" it, then if it ever needs to be dismantled it can be sliced with a Stanley knife.
