We have lost the Key to our sliding patio door which is looked. The handles look like Trojan which I have seen on a web site. Before I call out a locksmith would it be possible to get a key to fit with out busting the lock out. Also anyone know approx what a locksmith would charge.

When we had a house with no keys for the windows, we used a firm called "handles and hinges ". We e mailed them a picture of the lock, one of their marvelous people looked at them, e mailed us to say what key they thought it was and the prices.
They were really cheap, 4 keys for £11 I think it was, tho it was 4/5 years ago.
Keys were sent out really quickly and they worked. Give them a go?
We had a jammed lock and no key in a door we got from eBay , calling out a locksmith and getting it unjammed plus a new lock cost about £100 I think. That was about a year ago.
Hope this helps.0 -

If it is a standard euro lock then just snap it (google lock snapping)
Then replace with a anti snap lock . This would cost £20-£30 if you did it yourself or £100+ if you call a Locksmith out.Pure Dog Loving0 -
