First Direct Credit Card £25 Thank You

So did I dream it? I just spotted a £25 Thank You in my FD current account. I assume this was because I took out a FD Gold Card with 17 month 0% recently and started using it.

A nice surprise as I had forgotten all about the £25. So I had a bright idea and applied for one in my wifes name too. However, I cannot see any mention of a £25 thank you. I did a web search and the only references to £25 thank you's go back to applications before May 10th 2015.

Has this offer been discontinued, and please re assure me that it did exist....it must have done as the moneys in the bank!

Yep looks like you benefited from the £25 FD offer. Its parent company HSBC was also offering £25 for its credit card. Both offers seem to be finished now. Nationwide also have a £25 incentive for its select card. All three lenders are not market leading for credit cards but still money for nothing can't be bad! Enjoy.
