O2 has promised me a refund on three occasions and still hasn't

Getting extremely fed up.

I was overcharged and three times I've had to call or chat to get them to refund. Most of the time they don't understand the issue (it's pretty simple they billed me twice) and when they do they eventually promise to refund me but it's now been two months and I am losing my patience.

Where can I go next to get this resolved?

Write a complaint or find out the ombudsman and give them a try.

Or follow the advice below which I hadn't thought of.

How is this bill paid?

By Direct Debit?
If so, invoke the Direct Debit Guarantee with your bank.

By debit or credit card continuous payment authority?
If so, have a read of MSE's Chargeback article and contact your card issuer.
