Need to withdraw dollars from Share dealing acct

I am going on holiday to the USA and have some dollars in my share dealing account can anyone advise how I can withdraw the dollars?
If I transfer to my bank account it will be converted into sterling, I have looked at foreign currency accounts but they require regular income and often can't withdraw the USD in cash!

Unless you can spend the money in your share account via debit card then no, you'll need to withdraw it to your bank account.
