Any bank accounts that suit our needs?

I would prefer to avoid having more than 2 accounts, but need a reasonable rate to be worth switching. We have more funds in an ISA if required, but I'm still undecided about what to do with that. I'm also very conscious that our income starts dropping this month, and we may need to dip into some of the savings to see us through the next year.
I can hazard a guess that your ISA rate is way lower than 4%. You'll get 4% on £10k with 2 accounts. That not more than 2, it's exactly 2.
Totally down to your choice though. Rather than waiting months you could have been applying for accounts immediately and benefit from some interest on money that gets none now. That's £30 per month you're wasting for all the time that you delay without even thinking how much more you could get if you moved the ISA money.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
