More than one bank account

Does anybody know which bank accounts you can open more than one account but which don't involve additional credit checks.

Have seen LBG accounts do credit check additional accounts.

I know nationwide do credit check 2nd accounts.

I know others have reported otherwise, but in my experience all my accounts including those that are multiple's have bean credit checked.
