Hello
My partner and I applied for additional borrowing on our mortgage and were declined which is fine and not the issue here. The issue is that they told my partner that we were declined due to a number of reasons and went on to discuss, in writing and over the telephone, the transactions on my personal bank account that they didn't like.
Are they able to divulge information regarding my personal account as this is a joint application or should I be annoyed?
Many thanks

When you applied in joint names you almost certainly agreed to joint disclosure.0
