Michelle there is a saying: "price is what you pay, value is what you get". I think it was one of Warren Buffets. The meaning of it is, it is very easy to determine the price you will pay for something. But it can be difficult to determine the value you will get from that thing.

You see apples and oranges, I think you said. Whereas I definitely see apples. Perhaps one is a Granny Smith, one a Braeburn and one a slightly bruised Tesco Value. The bike, I grant you, is an orange.

Herloz - MSE seemed like a place to wave this. Those cars just random lookalikes to discuss. Discounting the Audi- a bruised Tesco Value apple past its sell by date- would car B be worth 10 times more than car A? I find that fascinating & would like to understand.
