Issue with Shoes

I had hoped this matter had reached a sensible conclusion but it wasn't quite the case.
Over the weekend I called in to collect the shoes, I was approached by the member of staff who the initial issue was with, lets call him Employee A. He brought out the brown shoe and sought payment for it, I advised it was free which he responded "Unlikely". I then advised him to call the Senior Manager who had sanctioned this to get clarification. Again a scene was caused in the shop and another member of staff approached me to begin small talk while the senior Manager was contacted by Employee A. Employee A who I had my back to came up to me, muttered something uncomplimentary under his breath and fired the shoes at me.
I sent another email to the company about this, it is far from satisfactory.0 -
Ignore the childish behaviour, they are obviously sulking because they were shown up by being wrong...0
