You're welcome - likewise anyone else who wants me to look over tests before sending back - most happy to :)

The induction involves you installing the relevant software and reading all the guidance in the help files. Then you have about 20 -30 mins on Yahoo messenger with your Senior Researcher where (s)he talks you through how to do certain things, find your way around the database etc and (s)he gives you a test question to have a go at researching. Then when you're happy you can begin. But at first you answer just about 15 questions then stop and talk again with your Senior researcher - they will go over your answers and give feedback and help. Then you go off and provided your review was OK first time it's about a month until the next one. You have to meet certain standards in spelling, grammar, style of answer etc to pass your reviews..
There's lots of support from various people at all times.

  • I sent off test 10 earlier, which I didn't think was too bad, there were only 2 questions that I really had struggles with...we'll see how it goes! In the meantime, back to slicethepie haha.
