Toshiba tv issue

Hi toshiba model 19w331DB

My LCD toshiba suddenly started playing up. I'm not sure if I leaned on the remote and pressed buttons putting into some sort of mode.

Basically when you switch it on there is a white screen, no picture just all white and the remote does nothing except put it into standby or back again. Menu key does nothing, source selector nothing, occasionally the white blinks as if I pressed something that worked but not a lot else.

I read some techie forums that suggest powering down at mains for at least a minute but this hasn't helped.

Can't find the manual, it's about 8 years old at a guess, I found the toshiba UK site but couldn't find the manual there, there's a link to the pre 2007 website ftp://CCFTPcustomer:909ohedr@195.35.123.32/CCFTP/Manuals

But nothing comes up on that link.

Any suggestions, a new TV was not in my budget! :eek:

Factory reset if possible .
It is very difficult to understand the problem posted .
Remote > Mode >White Screen I would try a TV forum .
