I did think of buying a cheap caravan through Haven. Initially they offered low interest, but I didn't have the deposit for that, then they said they would charge 12% interest.., but when I saw the paperwork it was twice that. I also (thank god I read it thoroughly) saw that if at any time I defaulted I would owe £25k (the van was £15k).

I walked away, much though I loved the site. I was offered a guaranteed rental to cover costs for a year but as it was a cheap static, I knew I could have problems renting it out thereafter.
