Hi everyone
Couple of months ago I purchased 64 reg from one of the main dealers of Toyotta for 20k (26 k payable incl interest over 5 years)
1) Car was advertised with 17 inch alloys. being naive of tyre size i picked up and one of my friend who is in motor trade pointed that these are 15 inch alloys.
2) Car's front bumper was damaged, fixed and resprayed. but it was done with either substandard material or bad workmanship that it starts coming off in two months giving an ugly look. salesman assured me that this car was never involved in accident.
3) I paid 350 quids to get supagard treatment, which is some special spray and treatment done on exterior and interiors. i found that they done some touch up on exterior and nothing inside.
NOntheless i make a complaint to them straight away re point 1 and 3, for which they sluggishly responded.
`) they offering me to take my car back there for full supagard treatment.
) they say alloys advertised was a human error and they want me to to their office so they can accomodate me.
) bumper issue is a recent one and i believe they deceived me here by selling a defective item.
any advise info on rights of buyers or any of your experience in dealing with them if shared will be greatly appreciated.

A poorly painted car sold via a Toyota Main Dealer?
Can't see that myself.
You can't tell the difference between 15" wheels and 17" wheels without it being pointed out by somebody in the motor trade.
Sounds like buyers remorse or a tall tale.0 -
£26k for a £20k car + £350 supaguard = spanking.0

Which Toyota has 15" wheels? Seems small for a £26k car.
Probably means ride is a bit better though. What does it say on the tyres? More to the point why does it matter to you what size the wheels are if you are happy with the car and the way it drives?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
my average car use was 3k to 5k cars, first time went to a main dealer and that's what i was handed over.
but my question is there anything i can do?0
