Hey,
I need urgent help. All the white backgrounds on my laptop have blue diagonal fuzzy lines running across them. The computer itself is working fine just the monitor playing up.
Any ideas of what this could be?
Thanks

owww. i've seen this before yeah. just a simple answer to this.
yeah ur screenis shot! if its under 12 month take it back. . they 9/10 are not worth repairing pay more for the screen and fitting than the laptop0 -
ok I actually READ your post - It's a laptop so it HAS a TFT screen. Try getting another monitor and plugging it in to the external monitor port on your laptop and there should be a FN key combination for toggling on the external display that is usually on the Function keys on the keyboard. The toggle works on subsequent key presses, eg , 1st time you press , External display only, next time you press BOTH laptop display and external display come on and then the third time back to LAPTOP ONLY display. If the lines appear on the external display too - video card fault, if they don't, flat panel in your laptop is probably fault - and they are EXPENSIVE to fix. Hope this helps.0
