but i suppose the broader question is "can someone do any damage if they have your IBAN number, Sort Code, Account Number" with no card or security details? i don't think they realistically can:think:.
I think you're right, I can't see any way in which they could take money out of that account (even more so if it's only used as a very temporary holding account for incoming funds before they are moved to an operating account), and having knowledge of the details shouldn't be an issue. The only potential problem I can see, but would apply to any method of receiving the money, is ensuring that it comes from a safe and reliable source so that you don't fall under suspicion of involvement in money laundering.0
