  • Hi
Are you using a surge protected mains lead?

I used to get annoying clicks and pops through my speakers until I got a surge protected extention lead.

    Hope this helps.

could also be the motherboard interfereing with the sound processor, i have this issue at work.

But that is if the sound card is part of the motherboard.
Ever stop to think and forget to start again?
  • I hvent a clue what is causing it, it's the odd time, but sometimes its constant.

Yes i have a surge protector, (just recently but was doing it before) and no moby phone near speakers. Good point about the motherboard, but u think the manufactures would suss this out b4 manufacture wouldnt u? Of course thats in an ideal world, which we dont live in.
  • btw thanks for ur suggestions

Quote the manufacturer and any relevant details. You are not helping the forum members or your self by keeping them a secret. Have you tried muting unused audio inputs in your mixer application.
