Individual Tiles

Hi all,
I'm sticking this here as I think it's where there'll be the most knowledge.
Where, in the UK, can I buy tiles individually? They're going to be for craft purposes so I don't want to have to buy huge packs when I only want maybe 4 of a type. xxx

I'll start the ball rolling: B&Q.
Don't most tile retailers sell samples?0 -
Was going to say b&q.
Every style has an open box that you can purchase individually. Also I picked up a single large tile in Homebase on the weekend as a splash back for a cloakroom sink. They also had open boxes for all their tiles.0 -
I think most retailers will sell you samples. I don't know how you plan to use them, but could you use broken/ chipped tiles? If you could, I would speak to your local tile shop and see if they will sell any rejects to you at a lower price.0

Home base, wickes, b&q basically most DIY/home stores have both single tiles and boxes of tiles. Around £1 each for standard tiles alone I think.0

Been up to Homebase (I genuinely never knew you could buy individual tiles). They had loads from as little as 15p up to about £1.50 ish. (I'm using them as coasters with a picture on the front).
Thanx all xxx0 -
Put a call out on freecycle as many homeowners will have half boxes hanging around to get rid of!!Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

depends what kind of tiles you want - plain or patterned?0
-
Tops Tiles sell them individually. Also look in charity shops, sometimes they have them a 'pot stands'.0
-
Also you can get samples from eBay.0
