Hpi - VRM not recorded as scrapped by DVLA
Options
Hi - I'm looking at buying a 2010 quashqai privately. I've done a HPI check. The HPI hd no warnings, but can someone confirm what the following two lines mean?
It had a couple of plate changes perhaps that has something to do with it?
Thanks in advance. It sounds a bit worrying 'VRM not recorded as scrapped by DVLA'
VRM not recorded as exported

The current plate was transferred to this vehicle on 20/02/2016
P8LYV was applied to this vehicle on 08/10/2014
There are no interests recorded against P8LYV
PF10FFT was applied to this vehicle on 13/07/2010

Hi,
As far as I'm aware that's perfectly normal.
VRM refers to the Vehicle Registration Mark. The HPI check is simply confirming that the vehicle with this Registration has not been recorded as Scrapped or exported... the concern would be if the vehicle HAD been recorded as scrapped.

Oh i see I'm misreading the report! I was reading:
VRM not recorded, as exported
VRM not recorded, as scrapped by DVLA
ooops - thanks for taking the time to respond though. Cheers!0 -
