Verona Help Needed!

Morning all,

I'm off with my Girlfriend to Verona in early August for a wedding.

The flights are fine but it's getting from the International Airport to Malcesine that we need help with.

I'm hoping we can use local transport to get there to save money!

Transfers were coming up at around £100 each way !

We are only there 2 days for a wedding so hoping to keep cost down where possible.

It is 40 miles from Verona to Malcesine, so taxis will be expensive.

http://www.rome2rio.com/s/Verona-Italy/Malcesine says the train and bus takes around an hour and is around £9 currently.

Its a two leg journey - Verona to Garda, then Garda to Malcesine.

On the bus, its the 164 from Verona Airport to Garda, then the 84 from Garda to Malcesine. Looks like they are both hourly services.

Can't find fare information, but it should be on the visitgarda website or google.

be warned depending on the time these buses get very very busy so i dont know if you will have plenty of luggage but you might struggle
