A reply from my MP

nothing has happened since I received my letter
my point is that newbies or not, your post today means nothing as your MP is obliged to reply telling you they have passed it on, the replies you are getting are from people who have done the same thing over the last few years (like myself) and got absolutely nowhere
if you had posted the reply from the DoT then that may be different, but your news today is non-news ! nothing in it matters as yet, its all hot air like mine was 2 years ago
post back when you have something to report, because today its YAWN time as I had similar concerns dismissed by the MP 18 months ago
 NOTHING HAS CHANGED
Then I will let you know. What you did 18 months ago is a long time, did you then give up ?0

If your letter to your MP was as you describe it will already have hit the waste bin and quite rightly so . If anything does ever come in to regulate private parking please don't delude yourself that you will have had even the slightest influence .
You really don't take hint do you ?
And while we're at it you don't need to start a new thread everytime Parking Prankster posts a new blog . Your meaningless and useless threads clutter up the board and threads by OP's needing help get pushed off the front page and lost sooner as a result .0

Your opinion .... as it happens, this will be the discussion point tonight at dinner so as said before, I will let you know.
No reason not to post new prankster threads, it is always for newbies who mostly do not understand what is going on. Most threads get pushed off the bottom of the page quickly anyway.
Why on earth would I delude myself, it is surely a joint effort which only works without negatives0

MP's are a waste of space they are only interested in our votes and putting their mucky snouts in the trough for as long as possible.
Standard cannot be a**ed letter whilst appearing to be doing something.
They are FAR too busy arguing about Europe so dont expect anything to be done.
Private parking is low low low on their agenda
 But good luck

I have to agree with you and that is the problem in this country, far too much negativity, we have had this chat before Arthur about that
And, as my mother has Alzheimer's, I supported the campaign to government
A few weeks ago, we went to Parliament to talk about hospital care in England. Over 5,000 people had emailed their MPs asking them to meet us and because of this incredible demonstration of support, we were able to speak to 150 MPs over the course of one day
For those critics on here, do not think for one moment that MP's take no notice, they do.
What MP's WILL NOT do is talk to us if people do not contact them.0
