Tenerife Excursion discounts

Hi guys

Any tips on getting discounts for excursions in Tenerife? Looking online, and fancy doing things like the submarine safari, but its 188euros for the family, I know I might just be being tight, but that seems very expensive. Was hoping there might be a cheaper way to buy these tickets? Anyone know of anywhere that do deals?

You'll struggle to get "deals" on excursions - have you tried booking directly with the excursion operator?

And at 47 Euro per head (based on 4 people and the 188 euro price), that's £37. Not bad for an excursion at all.

Well, you have to think of it in terms of the business - they have fuel for the submarine, maintenance, insurance, wages, taxes to pay, whether its full or only 4 people turn up. £37 I find is pretty cheap, you'd be hard pressed to find a submarine tour in europe (that is reputable) for that price per head.

If you're struggling with costs, why not take one of the glass bottomed boats? They usually do it as a half day with lunch, so its one less cost for you, and its usually around that price point. Or you could just snorkel and get the same effect - snorkels can be picked up in pound shops over here and the sea is free.
  • nothing compares with the thrill of piloting a powerful jet bike along the coast to see pilot whales and dolphins to swim with the turtles. here you can find some good prices toptentenerife.com/tours/jet-ski-safari-tenerife/

Thomas cook use Attraction World for their excursions. They do have some exclusives. Pop into one of TC's shops you may get an additional discount as the staff are targeted on sales for these.
