post iva clearup

Does anybody know the address for the bank of Ireland's data controller? I have an incorrect default listing way over 6 years now since the start of the iva (IVA has finishes) that shows on closed accounts on one credit file and open accounts on the others. The balance has not been zeroed even. Closed account details can take longer to drop off than 6 years apparently (depending on credit agency) and as BOI has also got the initial default date wrong I would at least like that correcting.

Whilst I can easily find the customer services address I am rather cynical as to the effect of sending a letter to a general office. According to postings on the net many folk give addresses for the data controller for most banks but i can't for the life of me find it for them.

Any help would be welcome as would anyone knowing a good template letter to send.
thanks
