i was sold an insurance policy by my bank with legal & general can i claim ppi from legal & general or can you only claim from banks .

You complain to whoever sold you the insurance, not the provider.
What insurance cover is this and what reasons do you have for complaint?0 -
Legal & General do loads of different type of insurance.
1 - Is the policy you have PPI?
2 - why do you think it was mis-sold?

If that policy is not payment protection insurance then it will not pay out to protect your payments.
If you mean can you complain about the way it was sold, that would need to be directed to the seller. You tell us that was the bank.
However, simply selling a policy is not grounds for a complaint to be upheld. You need to show it was unsuitable for you.0
