Hard Credit Searches - 1 pre current/ previous address

I just signed up to Clear Score, and generally the score was good (I know this doesn't mean much)... I'm on electoral roll, have had accounts for many years, never defaulted a payment, etc.

There were 2 negatives - 1 that my current utilisation % is quite high, although that should be coming down soon, as I paid 2k off my barclaycard in Jan 2016 but it hasn't updated yet. Another was the fact that there had been more than a few searches in the last year. There was only 1 application I made in Sept 2015 for a Santander CC but it is showing as 3 searches on the Clear Score report - 1 at each of my current and 2 previous addresses. Is this normal or should I query it with Clear Score?

I have the same on my Equifax credit file I had a credit search by Shop Direct. It's shown as a search at my current address and my previous address. I think this is quite normal.

That's for that. I thought as much, but the fact that it actually states this is a negative as 'there has been a few recent searches', threw me a bit. This 1 search appears as 1 search on my other credit rating files.
