Adding an Extra Monitor to Desktop pc ..advice please

Hi

I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge 73 SFF
the back of looks like this


I have a AOC monitor , and now wish to add an extra Monitor which is a Asus VX239H-W
Do I need a passive adapter to DVI or HDMI ...?
searching google has not helped, and anyone know the best place to purchase

Reckon you need a Displayport to HDMI adaptor . Loads on Amazon

Don't forget that unless you have a strange MB then the onboard video ports will be disabled since you have a video card fitted.

that machine has also got onboard graphics , and uses intel 4th generation CPUs , I would suggest that it will be able to give 2 outputs via the onboard vid chip

Yup, I have a similar machine running my HTPC setup and can get an output on both the display port and VGA.

are you running from the additional add on card , or from the on board graphics

Yep - that looks like the right thing to me.
There were Lenovo branded ones on ebay when I was last looking for an adapter (I wanted DisplayPort - VGA).
